TREES and FLOWERS and VEGETABLES and HERBS, oh my!
GIVE-AWAYS and DEMONSTRATIONS and MARKET!

SATURDAY, APRIL 25: The Sheffield Tree Project & Sheffield Land Trust celebrate Arbor Day & Earth Day with a Tree & Shrub Giveaway & much more. Bushnell-Sage Library, 48 Main St, Sheffield, 10am to 1pm—please, no early birds!
10 AM to 1 PM
~> GIVEAWAY: Red Cedar, Jack Pine, Sycamore, White Oak, American Hornbeam, Serviceberry, Flowering Dogwood, Witch Hazel, Viburnum Nannywood, Arrowwood, Highbush Cranberry, Bayberry, Beach Plum, and P***y Willow. All are welcome! First come, first served. Maximum of 3 seedlings per person until all are gone.
~> FARMERS’ MARKET SEEDLING SALE: Vegetable, herb, and flower seedlings.
~> MUD KITCHEN FOR KIDS: New playground equipment, thanks to the Friends. Dress to get dirty if you're 6 and under!
10:30 AM - into the AFTERNOON
~> ARBOR DAY PROCLAMATION followed by PRUNING, MULCHING, PLANTING DEMONSTRATION: By STP founder and Certified Arborist Tom Ingersoll. On the Library grounds. All are welcome to join in, learn how to plant a tree and get your hands in the dirt. We will continue on from here to plant other trees in Sheffield. Join in and add to Sheffield's municipal "forest"!
