Joe Heckert for Sheffield Lake My name is Joe Heckert. I love Sheffield Lake. I've been fortunate to call it "home" for over 10 years, and plan to for many more!

I'm here to promote kindness and respect and equip/inform residents so they can engage more in our local government! My name is Joe Heckert, and I am running as a write-in candidate to become the new Sheffield Lake City Council Member representing Ward 1. I absolutely love this community. I am incredibly fortunate that I've been able to call this place "home" for over 10 years now. My wife and I are raising 5 kids here. As our kids continue getting older, it just keeps getting more and more clear that Sheffield Lake is the best community to put down roots and build a family. A community as special as Sheffield Lake does not happen by accident. It takes ordinary people who care deeply about the community and the people in it stepping up to continue the work of those that have gone before us to continue to make things better for our present and our future. I am running for City Council because I want to help continue the work of making Sheffield Lake the best community out there!
