Following the removal of an unsafe deck, the volunteers of Rebuilding Together, with help from the Ambassador's Rotary Club, made safe this area of a Shawnee home while also repairing damage from how the deck was improperly attached to the home's siding. Very grateful to the amazing volunteers from the SHACKBuilt contractors, McAnany Construction, Waste Management, and the Ambassadors Rotary Club for their donation of time and materials to improve the life of our Shawnee neighbor. Shirley will love her new drive/walkway and all new interior! Rebuilding Together was also able to provide a new refrigerator and range/oven for her kitchen. As always, appreciate the support of the City Of Shawnee as we go about our mission to help our neighbors.

We help disabled veterans and low-income Shawnee neighbors repair and maintain their homes so they can remain there and retain the dignity we believe every person deserves.
Rebuilding Together Shawnee is an affiliate of Rebuilding Together, the nation’s largest volunteer home rehabilitation organization. Rebuilding Together, comprised of more than 200 affiliates across 46 states, works to preserve homeownership and neighborhoods by providing home repairs and rehabilitation services free of charge to those in need.

Rebuilding Together provides home repairs and modifications for eligible neighbors in partnership with volunteers, businesses, local government agencies and other community partners. Home improvement services are provided at no cost to the homeowner.
