Last year I painted a hat for my grandbaby. I was obsessed until I wasn’t. Recently I decided this was a great transition to painting again. I lost a dozen hats in the shop over this last year. So I finished up a couple this weekend. There is something so unserious about painting on a hat. I love it!

It’s been 5 years since I’ve posted and almost that since I have painted regularly. In those 5 years I have gotten my masters degree, 2 grandbabies, and a new job. As I move in to 2026 I want to start making art again. It’s my form of self care. To help me stay accountable I will be posting some work here.
It may not be what it use to be but I am ready to get back to it.
