The Marion School District Archery Club has two new bows purchased with donations from our organization and others.

The right-handed and left-handed Diamond 305 Pro bows will be used by the members of the archery club.

The club is for all students in grades 7-12. The goal of club is to be fun while teaching safety, increasing student involvement activities, teaching proper shooting form and archery etiquette.

Join us on Saturday, April 18 at the Relay for Life Shawano-Menominee event, where we'll unite to make a difference in the fight against cancer!

We've contributed anbasket filled with hunting gear to the raffle, and we're inviting you to take part in our Deerhunters challenge, where you'll have the chance to test your aim with a Nerf gun and hit a cardboard deer. To amplify your impact, we'll match every dollar raised during the challenge.

Together, let's create a memorable experience, have fun, and bring hope to those affected by cancer, showcasing the strength and generosity of our community.

Community Support Makes Environmental Learning Possible! 🌲🫶

Shawano Community Middle School is grateful for the generous support of the Shawano Chapter of Wisconsin DeerHunters Inc., who recently donated $500 to support the upcoming Trees for Tomorrow field trip in Eagle River, Wisconsin.

The donation was presented by Bob Weier of the Shawano Chapter and accepted by SCMS Life Science instructor Katie Flathom, along with seventh grade students Bryce Landon and Greyson Beyer.

This contribution will help approximately 100 seventh grade students attend the three-day environmental education experience at Trees for Tomorrow. During the trip, students will engage in hands-on learning focused on ecology, conservation, and environmental stewardship, gaining a deeper understanding of the natural world and their role in protecting it.

Support from community organizations like Wisconsin DeerHunters Inc. plays a vital role in making these meaningful, real-world learning experiences possible. We sincerely appreciate their commitment to education and conservation! ❤️
