This time yesterday evening, we were wrapping up a powerful and beautiful milestone — the Fanta Bility Foundation’s Inaugural Gala. 💜🩷

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, and sponsored this special evening. We were honored to celebrate our distinguished honorees Senator Anthony Hardy Williams, Attorney Michael van der Veen, and Dr. Nathaniel D. Robinson, whose leadership and support have meant so much to the Foundation. We are also grateful to the elected officials who joined us and to and for helping share the story of this meaningful evening with the broader community.

The evening would not have been possible without our community supporters, emcee Thera Martin, and board members Siddiq Kamara, Tenneh Kromah, and Sheila Carter. Together, we were able to raise nearly $5,000 in the room during the gala, helping to sustain and expand the Foundation’s community initiatives!

Most of all, we celebrate the life and legacy of Fanta. The funds raised will help us continue serving families and uplifting our community through programs inspired by her kindness and generosity.

Her legacy lives on through this work. ✨🩷💜

Since its founding, the Foundation has organized meaningful initiatives each year, including school bookbag and supply giveaways, Ramadan food distributions, winter coat drives for children, neighborhood clean-ups, and other service projects that reflect Fanta’s caring nature and love for helping others.

This special evening will help raise funds to sustain and expand these programs, allowing us to continue serving families and uplifting communities across Delaware County and Southwest Philadelphia.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Fanta Bility Foundation’s Ramadan Community Food Giveaway last Friday. Together, we were able to provide food staples to families in Southwest Philadelphia during this sacred season of reflection, generosity, and compassion.

We are deeply grateful to our amazing volunteers, whose time and dedication made this event possible, and to the many community members who came out to receive and support one another.

We also want to thank the media partners who helped shine a light on this effort and the spirit behind it — FOX29, NBC10, and The Philadelphia Tribune — for covering the event and helping share Fanta’s legacy of love and service with a wider community.

On Friday, February 27 at 2 PM, the Fanta Bility Foundation will host our annual Community Food Giveaway in Southwest Philadelphia, providing essential and culturally significant items like rice, oil, and dates to families in need.

Ramadan is a sacred time of reflection, generosity, and togetherness—and this effort is one way we continue honoring Fanta’s legacy through service and community care.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us for yesterday’s Winter Essentials Giveaway and helped make the day a true reflection of Fanta’s legacy. Our sincere thanks to Fanta’s family, Sharon Hill Borough Council, and First Choice Home and Community Services for their partnership and continued commitment to serving our community with care and compassion.

We also extend our appreciation to the elected officials and community leaders who took time to be present and stand with families, including our president Sheriff Siddiq Kamara of the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, Mayor Edward Booker of Sharon Hill Borough, Council President Tanya Allen (Sharon Hill Borough), Council Vice President Rodney Hill (Sharon Hill Borough), Councilwoman Dr. Tammi Fleming (Sharon Hill Borough), PA State Senator Anthony H. Today, we pause to honor Fanta on what would have been her 13th birthday. This is a day her family, friends, teachers, and classmates would have spent celebrating the bright, compassionate, and generous young woman she was becoming. Perhaps it would have been filled with laughter, joy, and the simple freedom of being an official teenager on her special day. Though Fanta is not physically here with us, her spirit continues to guide how we show up for one another. Today, we honor her by doing what she loved most while she was with us—helping others and giving back with a Winter Essentials Giveaway. Through acts of service and love, we keep her memory alive and her legacy strong. She will always be remembered, always cherished, and forever loved. Happy Birthday, Fanta. You are deeply missed and endlessly celebrated. 💜💗
