Overlook Fire Company Station 290

After 2 grueling days cutting cars with a Tactical Extrication class, the same multiple companies are on their 2nd working fire tonight.

1st was Overlook 290 box on Wyndom Lane.

2nd in Kulpmont Poplar Street.

And transfer assignment at Kulpmont Fire Station while they mop up their fire.

No rest for all.

Joint Township training on "Rural Hitch" operations.

Both 170 and ourselves set up flowing from the tankers to suppression units. This is a tactic often used to establish positive water to first arriving suppression pieces, until a dump tank is set up, to ensure first in crews have enough adequate water. Having zero interruptions in water was the goal. We learned some limitations, got new operators on pumps, and new members on flowing operations from the Aerial waterway.
