Road is now open. Thank you to Osecola Fire Dept, Chisago County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Patrol, Minnesota Department of Transportation for the assistance this morning.

***HWY 95 has been re-opened***

ROAD CLOSURE

The Minnesota State Patrol is currently investigating a serious motor vehicle crash on Hwy 95 East of Redwing Avenue in southern Chisago County. Please use the highlighted detour to avoid the area (Redwing Ave & 260th St). The road is expected to be shut down for several hours.

Bonfire + High winds + Dry grass = 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Shafer Franconia Fire had a grass fire today on 260th that spanned multiple properties. Fire conditions change day by day so please keep an eye on them during the spring and fall, even in February. Thank you to Lindstrom Fire Department, Center City Fire & Rescue, MN DNR, Chisago County Sheriff's Office for their assistance today!
