This one word is what so many are searching for.
Community is what makes people feel welcome, supported, human, and loved. By simply loving our neighbors, Making it Happen has strengthened and built community for over a decade in the Sunland/Tujunga area. 🌟
High school students, disabled veterans, senior community members, immigrants, churches, those in recovery, those with mental illness, unhoused individuals and families, underemployed and unemployed community members are all populations who either volunteered to serve or have been served under the name of Making it Happen. Making it Happen would not have received this award without our beloved Sunland/Tujunga community. ❤️
So, this award goes to YOU! 🎉🏆
To our volunteers, our financial supporters, prayer partners, and the people we serve; let’s keep showing the rest of the state what it means to truly love your neighbor ❤️ and what amazing things a thriving community can accomplish!!! ✨
