Today, members of Jackson County RISE were proud to take part in the 30th Annual Day of Caring! 💙

Our team successfully completed TWO community projects today — from pulling weeds and landscaping, to mowing a yard, repairing a concrete porch retaining wall, fixing a door entry, and power washing a back porch. No task was too big or too small when it came to helping our community.

Watching everyone jump in and give full effort is exactly what RISE is all about:
Resilience. Inclusion. Support. Engagement.

What an incredible day spent giving back alongside so many amazing people throughout the county. This year’s Day of Caring included 110 projects and over 800 volunteers working together to make a difference in Jackson County!

We are thankful to be part of a community that continues to show up for one another. 💙

🇺🇸💪 Jackson County RISE showed up STRONG yesterday! 💪🇺🇸

Our team proudly participated in the annual Fire Truck Pull in support of the Special Olympics—and what an incredible day it was!

Together, this event raised over $12,000 for an amazing cause that supports athletes right here in our community. ❤️

Did we take home the win?
Nope.
But what we did bring was something even better—pride, smiles, teamwork, and determination. And honestly… that’s what RISE is all about.

✨ RISE = Resilience • Inclusion • Support • Engagement ✨

From the laughs in the rain to pulling alongside some amazing teams, we had an unforgettable time coming together for something bigger than ourselves.

Thank you to everyone who donated, showed up, and supported this event—you are what makes our community so special.

The Jackson County Special Olympics Firetruck Pull is ON!

12 teams.
Up to 10 people each.
One 37,000-pound Seymour Fire Department firetruck.
And 50 feet of pure grit, teamwork, and bragging rights.

📍 Where: Walmart Parking Lot – Seymour
⏰ Pull Starts: NOON
