Friends of the Gaudreau Family have organized a 5K fundraising event to support the Gaudreau Family, honor the memory of their sons and help build a playground for handicapped students at Archbishop Damiano school.

Did you know Eric Robinson, who won the Stanley Cup this year with the Carolina Hurricanes, is a Gloucester Catholic grad?

He grew up in South Jersey playing alongside John and Matty at Hollydell, and was even coached for a time by their dad, Guy. Eric and John later played together again with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Today, one of his signed jerseys is up for bid at the Gloucester Catholic Gaudreau Family Golf Outing, honoring John and Matty’s legacies and supporting scholarships for Gloucester Catholic students.

Tomorrow marks the return of the Gloucester Catholic Gaudreau Family Golf Outing, a day dedicated to honoring the legacies of John and Matty Gaudreau.

The event supports scholarships for students in the Gloucester Catholic community, helping students achieve their dreams — just like John and Matty.

The outing is officially sold out, but you can still be part of it by bidding in the silent auction. A few of the items include a Jack Hughes signed stick, Phillies, Eagles & Flyers tickets, and so much more.

This fall, we’re carrying John & Matty’s love of hockey forward.

The Gaudreau Family Foundation is proud to announce our first-ever Learn-to-Skate/Learn-to-Play Ice Hockey Program, free for kids ages 3-12 at Hollydell Ice Arena.

We are honored to make the game that John & Matty loved accessible to others.

Even more special, participants will learn the game from the same person who taught it to John & Matty, their dad Guy Gaudreau.

All instruction, ice time, and equipment will be provided at no cost, with sessions held Thursdays from September 17 through December 10.

Families must live within about 30 miles of Hollydell to be eligible.

Two years. Two Stanley Cup Champions. One 5K.

For the second consecutive year, players from the team that went on to win the Stanley Cup participated in the Gaudreau Family 5K to honor John and Matty.

In 2025, it was Florida Panthers players, led by Matthew Tkachuk. This year, it was Carolina Hurricanes players Eric Robinson, Shayne Gostisbehere, Mark Jankowski, and Freddie Andersen, alongside Manager of Team Services Michael Brown and Team Operations Assistant Mallory Wilmoth.

They walked. They honored. And then they brought home the Cup.

We will never be able to put into words how grateful we are.

Thank you to every single person who keep John and Matty’s legacies alive.

This past Saturday, several members of the Gaudreau Family 5K committee were among the many guests celebrating a very special upcoming arrival - baby Joyce!

It was such a joy and honor to shower Katie Gaudreau-Joyce with love as she prepares for this next beautiful chapter.

Yesterday the ribbon was cut on the Gaudreau Brothers' Wings of Hope and Chrysalis Corner at Archbishop Damiano School — and it is everything.

This didn't happen overnight. It took Jane, Guy, Katie, and Kristen, who turned unimaginable grief into purpose.

It took runners, donors, and volunteers who raised over $500,000.

It took people from around the world - hockey fans, neighbors, and strangers.

Yesterday, we watched the love, support and hard work become something 135 children can see, touch, and play on. Forever.

To everyone who was part of this: thank you for doing so much, everything really, to honor John & Matty.
