Anne Arundel County Community, national, and worldwide not for profit org. The Rotary Club of Lake Shore-Severna Park provides fellowship and networking. Our service activities range from local to worldwide projects including, among others, youth leadership, scholarships, literacy, feeding the hungry, clean water, community beautification, improvements to a local Camp Whippoorwill, a local Girl Scout camp, and the elimination of Polio from the world.

🇺🇸❤️💙 COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS MAKING A DIFFERENCE! 💙❤️🇺🇸

On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, Ray Sturm, Unit Commander of the Anne Arundel Young Marines, and Bob Sartwell, President of the Lake Shore Rotary Club, traveled to Dot Foods in Bear, Delaware, for a special $3,000 check presentation!

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dot Foods for their generous $3,000 contribution in support of our joint food drive initiative between the Anne Arundel Young Marines and the Lake Shore Rotary Club!

This generous support demonstrates the power of community partnerships and a shared commitment to helping families facing food insecurity.

Rotary Steak Fry and BBQ - On Saturday, September 26, Rotary Club members gathered at Larry Sanders’ home for a special Steak Fry and BBQ—our last one before Larry retires to Florida. Members enjoyed a wonderful evening filled with great food, drinks, friendship, and fellowship as we celebrated the many good times shared together. Unfortunately, due to the rainy weather, we weren’t able to capture any photos this year, so we’re sharing a few memories from last year’s event instead!

What a wonderful turnout at YMCA Family Day in Pasadena, proudly sponsored by the Lake Shore-Severna Park Rotary Club!
This FREE community event — no YMCA membership required — brought families together for a day packed with fun, activities, and valuable local resources.

The event was a tremendous success, and it was great seeing so many families enjoying everything our community has to offer.
A big thank-you to the YMCA, participating organizations, volunteers, and everyone who came out and made the day such a success.

Lake Shore-Severna Park Rotary joined with other Rotary Clubs in the district at Prince George's Stadium for a worthy cause and a birthday celebration to watch the Chesapeake Baysox. Great night, great game, great people! Helping to eradicate Polio!
