In Loving Memory of Past President John Clark
One Year Since His Passing
Today, we pause to remember and honor our friend, fellow Rotarian, and Past President, John Clark, who left us one year ago today.
John embodied the very spirit of Rotary—Service Above Self. His leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our community helped shape the Rotary Club of Lake Shore–Severna Park into the vibrant and caring organization it is today. Whether leading a project, welcoming a new member, or quietly lending a helping hand, John always put others first.
As President, John led with integrity, humility, and vision. He understood that Rotary is more than meetings and service projects; it is about building friendships, strengthening communities, and making a lasting difference in the lives of others. His example inspired all who had the privilege of serving alongside him.
Beyond his many contributions, John will be remembered for his kindness, warm smile, and genuine concern for everyone he met. He had a remarkable ability to bring people together and make each person feel valued and appreciated.
Though a year has passed since we said goodbye, John's legacy continues through the work we do, the lives we touch, and the fellowship we share. His influence remains woven into the fabric of our club and our community.
Today, we honor John's memory with gratitude for his friendship, appreciation for his service, and respect for the enduring example he set for all of us.
May we continue to serve with the same compassion, dedication, and generosity that John demonstrated throughout his life.
John, you are deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever a part of our Rotary family.
