This is for all the mother's, daughter's, grandmother's, aunties, etc.
I have partnered with Dymand Leftdwrige in raffling off this PINKed out mother's day gift basket, to help raise money for Bentlee's seizure machine! (If all 50 spots are filled, this will be enough to buy one of his machines)

We will also be selling epilepsy awareness bracelets, coozies, car decals and possibly t-shirts (as soon as I can find someone who can make them asap) to help raise money as well.
I have the bracelets& car decals listed below so you can see what they look like.
Bracelets will be $5 each and decals will be $10 each! They will be here around the middle to the end of May! If you would like one and don't have venmo or cash app, I can also accept cash. Just let me know and I can make arrangements to deliver any of these for you!

He still doesn't sleep by himself right now until we are able to get this monitor to help give us a peace of mind.

He had another seizure Friday morning on the school bus and was unresponsive.
Please share if you can not donate! This will give us peace of mind where we can't seem to get any right now!

Hey everyone!
Haven't made a post in awhile so I wanted to let you know what we've been up to.
We met with Recovery Alive in February and we have another BBQ plate sell fundraiser in the works again for June!

Please be on the lookout for that exact date and time. We will post all of that information sometime around May.

We project this one to be a LOT bigger than last year's, so be ready!

In the meantime, I will be looking for some silent auction items for this event. If you or someone you know has anything you or they would like to donate, please PM us and we will get it squared away. The last day to donate items will be June 1st!

Also, if you would like to donate the BBQ, sides and individual wrapped desserts, let us know and we can arrange to meet you to pick it up.

We do know the location will be at Bethel Church in Goldsboro. Therefore, there will be inside space if it gets too hot or decides to rain, and of course restrooms. 😉

We are VERY excited about this event! We know and trust that the Lord will provide and guide us through this one as we have already seen Him do.

Make sure you come with hungry stomachs and be prepared for some great fellowship!

Everybody has their own opinions on addiction, but until you've been there, your opinion means nothing. There are some lucky ones who have beat it, but don't think because they're still alive, that life is gravy. They fight everyday, all day to stay clean. It's a constant battle from the time they open their eyes until they close them, and it never goes away. Most are good people who made a bad choice. Battling addiction is a beast for the person addicted and the ones who love them.
So, in loving memory of every family member and friend who has lost their battle with drugs, alcohol or other addictions and those who continue to conquer i share this post 💜

The Walk-A-Thon for Brody Carter was a success. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported Recovery Alive Inc. raised awareness, and to also keep Brody's memory alive.
It's little things like this that go a long ways for a family that's suffering through the heartache of losing someone.
Your support, participation, dedication and donations are always greatly appreciated and can help the next person going through drug addiction, mental health, domestic violence or trauma.

People wonder why we raise money & awareness?

Ask the mom who's missing her son and can't get answers as to his whereabouts.

Ask a father who's struggling to get his daughter to come home from an abusive relationship.

Ask the doctor who tried multiple times to revive his patient from an apparent overdose, and for his efforts to become unsuccessful.

Ask a child why they miss their mom or dad and just wish they would come, away from the streets.
Or ask a child how it feels to lose a parent to su***de.

Ask a pastor who has prayed constantly over a member of his congregation to come home to their family.

Ask a husband who begs his wife every night to come home, where she would be safe from the harms of this world and loses sleep every night that she don't.

Ask the homicide detective who has to relay the message to the victim's family that their loved one has just been murdered to violence.

Ask a drug addict who suffers in every way possible because they feel trapped in the darkness and feels suffocated with no way out.

Ask an addict who begs for help, and feels like no one cares for them.

Just ask. And when you receive their answers, you receive the answers as to why we do what we do.

I would take walking treacherous trails, in the rain, struggling to breathe because of being out of shape, in memory of someone special to this world, and raising awareness to hopefully save another one's life, than to ever have to give another family the heartache of telling them we just found their loved one deceased, and watching them go through the hurt constantly.

I may have not been able to save Brody, but everything we do in his name is to help save the next "Brody"

Today was all for you sweet boy! We hope we made you proud🖤🖤🖤
