The Selby Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank everyone for the generous donations we’ve received. Because of your support, we were able to send several firefighters to the Wildland S-130, S-180, and S-190 training in Mobridge, held May 1–3.

These trainings are essential in helping us better serve our community, respond more effectively to wildland fires, and keep both our firefighters and the people we protect safe.

A big thank you to the Mobridge Fire Department for hosting this training—we truly appreciate the opportunity and support!

We would like to thank everyone for your continued support! Last night’s fish fry was a great success, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you.

A special thank you to the Hiddenwood Sportsman Club for thinking of us and hosting the fish fry. We also want to thank Dollar General for their generous donation of beans, chips, and all the fun sides. Thank you to Ken’s Western Lumber for donating the propane grill that was raffled off, and to CNB for providing plates and silverware. We’re also grateful to CamWal for donating napkins.

A big thank you as well to Dave Smith and Chris Vetter for bartending and for their generous donation—we truly appreciate your time and support!

Every donation we receive helps us provide better service to our community—whether it’s PPE or equipment, every penny truly counts. We are incredibly thankful for your generosity and support!

We're grateful to have sent some of our brave firefighters to Roscoe, South Dakota for Firefighter I & II training, which will help them grow and better serve our community. We appreciate everyone involved in making this training possible.

The Sportsman Club Fish Fry will be held Saturday, April 25, from 5–7 PM!

Come out and enjoy some great fish, good company, and support two great causes—the Sportsman Club and the Selby Volunteer Fire Department.

You’re invited to join us for a community fish fry at May Acres on Friday, April 3, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM!

This event is hosted by the Sportsman Club and is a great opportunity to enjoy good food and connect with friends and neighbors. Best of all, all donations will go directly to support the Selby Volunteer Fire Department.

Bring your appetite and come out for a great cause—we hope to see you there!

We were proud to send some of our firefighters to Leola, South Dakota today to participate in Firefighter I & II training. Opportunities like this help our team continue to grow, sharpen their skills, and better serve our community. Thank you to everyone involved in making this training possible!
