🚨🗳️ TEXAS VOTERS: IMPORTANT UPDATE ON MAIL-IN BALLOTS
On August 24, 2026, the U.S. Supreme Court voted 6–3 to lift an injunction that had blocked portions of the Trump administration’s executive order involving mail-in voting.
⚠️ WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR TEXAS?
First, let’s be clear:
✅ Mail-in voting has NOT been eliminated in Texas.
✅ Who qualifies to vote by mail under Texas law has NOT changed.
⚖️ This was NOT a final Supreme Court ruling on whether the policies are constitutional.
⚖️ Litigation continues, and additional changes could occur before November.
📅 IMPORTANT TEXAS ELECTION DATES
🔹 October 5 — Voter Registration Deadline
🔹 October 19 — Early Voting Begins
🔹 October 23 — Vote-by-Mail Application Deadline — your county must RECEIVE your application by this date.
🔹 October 30 — Early Voting Ends
🔹 November 3 — ELECTION DAY | Polls open 7 AM–7 PM
📬 VOTING BY MAIL? DON’T WAIT!
If you qualify, apply early and return your ballot as soon as possible. With ongoing litigation and potential changes involving election procedures, give yourself plenty of time.
