📣 Attention, middle school parents!

All middle school students attending Seguin ISD home football games must be accompanied by and seated with an adult at all times. This policy applies to all pre-K through 8th grade students. High school students are not considered supervising adults under Seguin ISD policy.

All students must also bring their student ID.

Dear Seguin ISD families,
Per Texas House Bill 1481, Seguin ISD has designated that students must have their personal communication devices (cell phones, personal laptops, and other non-school-issued devices) turned off and in their backpacks for the entire school day. District policy does make limited exceptions. Students found in violation of the policy will face consequences.

As we head into the new school year, we wish all students and staff a wonderful first day back . To our new students—welcome to Seguin! We are excited for the opportunities and growth this year will bring.

This year, we hope empathy and kindness lead the way for all . We are here to provide a voice for our students and staff, to listen, and to advocate for the needs of our Matador family. We’ll continue to serve our community as needs arise, and with the positive changes ahead, we feel a renewed sense of hope for our schools.

If you or someone you know experiences challenges during the school year—whether academic, emotional, or resource-related—please reach out to us. Together, we can make sure everyone feels supported and heard.

Wishing everyone a fantastic first week back! ⚔️🖤💛
