It’s FINALLY here!! Tomorrow is the jamboree and the weather is going to be PERFECT. Please join us for an awesome day of Little League Softball! We will also be joined by D-BAT Skagit Valley (they are doing some fun and interactive activities for the kids), Cowboy Coffee, Kona Ice, and Smash Daddy’s!

Opening ceremonies begin at 8:45am, first pitch is 9am, and the last set of games begin at 7pm. See you tomorrow!!

Hey ya’ll!!! The jamboree is officially ONE WEEK away!! One of our favorite parts of the day is handing out Hickman Hero shirts.

Similar to the AUSL, we give out GOLDEN TICKETS to those girls that are chosen as the Hickman Hero of each game.

This award goes to the player that never gives up, is a great teammate, has a positive attitude, or shows off their mental side of the game. 2 girls are chosen by the umpires per game (1 per team). Here’s a look at this year’s GOLDEN TICKET!!

We are offering a pre-order option for t-shirts and sweatshirts this year! If you pre-order, you will have the option of adding a name and/or number to the back of your item. You’ll also be able to purchase on the day of the event, but won’t have the option to personalize.

All pre-orders will be due by Monday, April 20th. Orders will be available for pickup at the jamboree.

Please consider sponsoring a game this year for the Bob Hickman Memorial Softball Jamboree! All funds go towards helping local youth with registration fees and equipment. Thanks to our sponsors from last year, we’ve been able to supply gear and cover registration fees for 14 kids so far this year!

Each sponsor will receive their used game ball in a display case and will have their name on the fence of the field/game they’ve sponsored! The sponsor name will also be displayed on a banner that will be hanging up at the jamboree.

It’s that time of year again!!! The 3rd Annual Bob Hickman Memorial Softball Jamboree is slated for Saturday, April 25th!! We will be at Janicki Fields again this year and are expecting 35 local little league softball teams from Skagit and Island counties at the minor, major, and junior divisions. We’re literally playing ball ALL day!!

Highlights of this year’s tournament include:

-Opening Ceremonies at 8:45am with Ceremonial First Pitch

-The iconic Hickman Hero t-shirts! These go to 2 athletes per game (one per team) that exemplifies perseverance, sportsmanship, etc… the “unsung hero” is another way to think of it. 🦸‍♀️ Umpires choose the recipients!

- Jamboree t-shirts and sweatshirts are back!!we choose a different color every year that has significance and meaning to Bob. This year’s color is Kelly Green. Bob coached Triple Threat Softball and one of their main colors was Kelly Green.

- Amazing local food vendors! Kona Ice is returning with their gourmet shaved ice. Cowboy Coffee is back with coffee, bagels, and sandwiches! NEW this year: Smash Daddy’s Burgers! They will be offering their famous burgers, grilled cheese, hot dogs, and fries!! 🤤

-We’re also excited to share that we are adding pins this year! Every player and coach will go home with a jamboree pin.

-Game ball sponsorships are back! Fox Creek Designz has partnered with us to offer engraved game balls again with the tournament logo and sponsor’s name! Each game sponsor will receive their game ball after the tournament concludes to keep as a memento.🥎 Each sponsor’s name will also be displayed at the field on tournament day on a banner and also on the fence of the field during their sponsored game.

Money received from sponsorships will go to the Bob Hickman Memorial Fund to help youth athletes throughout District 11 Little League that may need assistance with registration fees, equipment, team sponsorships, etc… We’ve already been able to cover registration fees and supply equipment for 14 kids this season so far!

We need volunteers! There’s no way we can do this without your help. We are in need of volunteers to help with set-up, field maintenance, the first aid table, keeping book, umpire hospitality, check-in table, and clean-up. Please reach out if you are available! Even an hour of your time helps.

We can’t wait to see all of our local little league girls on April 25th!

The 2nd Annual Bob Hickman Memorial Softball Jamboree is set for Saturday, April 26th!! We will be at Janicki Fields again this year and are expecting 32 local little league softball teams from Skagit and Island counties at the minor, major, and junior divisions. We’re playing ball ALL day!!

Highlights of the tournament to look forward to:

-Opening Ceremonies at 8:45am with Ceremonial First Pitch

-Hickman Hero t-shirts! These go to 2 athletes per game (one per team) that exemplifies perseverance, sportsmanship, etc… the “unsung hero” is another way to think of it. 🦸‍♀️

- Jamboree t-shirts! Back by popular demand. We are bringing these back in a new color and also offering sweatshirts! 😊

- Awesome vendors! Kona Ice is returning with their gourmet shaved ice. New this year: Cowboy Coffee (because games start at 9am and we all need some caffeine and breakfast burritos/bagels!) and Fun Fair Food with ballpark food options such as fry bread, hand dipped corn dogs, garlic fries, hot dogs, and Philly Cheesesteak rolls! 🤤

- Game sponsorships! Jonasson Engraving has partnered with us to offer engraved game balls with the tournament logo and sponsor’s name! Each game sponsor will receive their game ball after the tournament concludes to keep as a memento.🥎

Money received from sponsorships will go to the Bob Hickman Memorial Fund to help youth athletes throughout District 11 Little League that may need assistance with registration fees, equipment, team sponsorships, etc… The fund also will help with facility improvements to Janicki Fields so we can keep hosting this tournament for years to come!
