Meet Hendrix and her family. Below is an email from them that I would love for you to read.
This is why we do what we do.

I want to say thank you so much for being able to give our family one of the most enjoyable and memorable experiences of our life. Being able to spend Christmas at Disney World and experience Hendrix’s wish with her as a family will go down as one of the greatest moments of our lives. That week, Hendrix was having so much fun, she forgot about her day to day struggle with Type 1 Diabetes. Honestly I can’t recall a single time she had to stop having fun, or get woken up in the middle of the night to treat a low blood sugar. Somehow everything just went perfect and she was able to fully enjoy the entire experience.

Give Kids The World was also great and they made us all feel so welcome. Being able to start and end our days there was icing on the cake and we are so thankful to have been able to experience being there. They created lasting memories that were not only special for Hendrix, but also reminded us of how strong Hendrix is and how thankful we are that she is our daughter. Being able to place her Star in the “Castle of Miracles”, is something I’ll never forget.

Hendrix truly surprised us all with her desire to face all of her fears with the big rides at Disney and Universal. Before this trip it was a struggle to get her on the small rides at the State Fair. She rode every single ride that she was able to, but her favorite was the “Slinky Dog Dash”. We were able to ride it 4 times and every time she made sure to ride with no hands! Seeing her face light up and get so excited on those rides is something I’ll be trying to recreate for the rest of my life. We were also treated like royalty by all of the Disney Cast Members. She was able to meet every single princess and character and we were also able to sit in a VIP area during the Christmas Parade and end of the night fireworks show. It was an emotional experience being able to enjoy that as a family.

Hendrix’s sister, Harper, also enjoyed every single second and she was so blessed and thankful to be there. She was treated just as well as Hendrix which was very special to us because she is there with Hendrix every step of the way through her daily struggles.

The entire week exceeded our expectations and we are so thankful that Hendrix’s wish was granted. Thank you for everything that was done to make this happen for us.

It's finally time for the Dream Factory's 35th annual Truck and Tractor Pull. SEPTEMBER 19th at 7pm. It will be a night to remember.
We sure hope you bring the family and join us for this awesome event that will be raising money for the kids.

It's official: Our new date for the 35th Annual Truck & Tractor Pull has been set. The new date is September 19th. That's a Friday night. We hope it doesn't pose a problem for anyone. It's not easy to plan something so big... that involves so many people. Please put this date on your calendar and let's make this our biggest Pull ever. We will have more information closer to date.

The Oct date was tentative. A wedding was scheduled for that night... and nobody wants a "little noise" during their wedding. 🤣

Once again, Give Kids The World and Disney World did not disappoint. Bexley and her family recently returned from a week long trip there... and they can't say enough great things about it. The word her mom used was "magical".
Bexley's favorite ride was the Haunted Mansion. I remember that being mine when I would go as a child.
It is so exciting to be a part of making such dreams come true.
Cherish those wonderful pictures, Bexley... allow those memories to live on. We're happy you had a great time!!

I love the look on this young man's face during his Dream. And I love that he picked something outside the box.
Sam Roepe and his parents were able to be a part of the Chiefs' playoff game against the Houston Texans. What a thrill that must have been.
Not only that, they were able to tour the stadium the next day with Defensive Cornerback #2, Joshua Williams. I do believe seeing the locker room and where the players hang out and the tunnel they walk through was the highlight of Sam's Dream.
We're so happy to have made his Dream come true. I'm sure with these great pictures, Sam's memories will live on for years to come.
