Common Area Maintenance is a 3000 sq. ft community gallery space in the heart of downtown Seattle, designed to offer affordable workspace and direct community access to the generative process. Common AREA works to amplify Seattle's artistic vitality, providing personal and collaborative workspace

to artists and offering curatorial and creative involvement for artists. Common AREA welcomes the community to celebrate arts and culture via enriching events, such as performances, readings, video installations and pop shops - Deepening community involvement in the arts through the use of our storefront as a public art gallery and promoting consistent exposure to the inner workings of artistic process.
