The Board and leadership of the Cham Refugees Community (CRC) and Masjid Jamiul Muslimeen strongly condemn the tragic shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego and extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and the entire Muslim community affected by this heartbreaking act of violence.
We call for justice and urge our nation to reject all forms of hate, division, and dehumanization. Houses of worship should always remain places of peace, safety, and refuge for all people.
CRC and Masjid Jamiul Muslimeen stand in full solidarity with the San Diego Muslim community during this difficult time. We encourage all masajid and community organizations to remain vigilant, strengthen safety measures, and continue fostering unity, compassion, and resilience within our communities.
We also call upon our brothers and community members to remain alert, proactive, and present in safeguarding our masajid and protecting the Ummah. Security and vigilance are a shared responsibility, and in times like these, we must look after one another, support our institutions, and ensure our spaces remain safe for worshippers and families.
May Allah grant mercy to the victims, healing to the injured, and patience and strength to their families and loved ones.
