The wooden window workshop on has been rescheduled to Sunday September 20 and Monday September 21. At this workshop you will learn how to do hands-on basic wood window repair, using traditional materials and techniques, through reglazing and performing minor wood repair on the octagonal turret windows from the Snoqualmie Depot. The lead instructor will be Sarah Steen, the King County Historic Landmarks Coordinator.

We’re deeply saddened by the loss of Todd Scott, a dearly valued member of our King County historic preservation community.

We at the Washington Trust are saddened to share the news of the passing of a dear friend and colleague. Todd Scott served with the King County Historic Preservation Program for nearly 20 years, most recently as Preservation Architect. In this work, Todd helped to protect our region's historic buildings, structures, and landscapes, preserving both communities' sense of place and the stories these places tell. He was a recognized leader with AIA's Center for Communities by Design, served on the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions Board of Directors, and was inducted into the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows, one of the profession's highest honors.

But even beyond this impressive track record, Todd was an incredibly warm, supportive, and kind-hearted person. Whenever he called our office, a quick check-in inevitably turned into a long, energetic conversation; whenever he attended our events, we knew we were in for a good time. Thank you for everything, Todd! You will be much missed by us all.
