Troop 167 had a fun biking campout at Ft. Ebey State Park, and had a chance to do a service project, rebuilding several picnic benches at the park. Of course an ice cream stop in Coupville was also appreciated by the Scouts! Thanks as always to our adult leader chaperones on this trip.

Scouts Troop 167 enjoyed a beautiful and fun hike and campout to one of our favorite spots - Ancient Lakes, in central Washington. The weather was perfect, Scout skills were taught and honed, and a great time was had by all. Check us out if your Scout-aged son or daughter is interested in fun outings like this!

It was fun to hear from Dutton Clarke, a former Scout in Troop 167 from the late 1960s. He shared some photos of the Troop at campouts, and confirmed they had similar purple and yellow neckerchiefs like the Troop has now. Wonderful to know some of the history of our 70+ year old Troop! Thanks for sharing Dutton.

Great job Carter Mason on organizing your Eagle Service Project. As you promosed, it was a rewarding day helping the Army Corps of Engineers, with pizza and free parking. You really know how to sell it.
