Bridges @ UW is a family on campus for international students and Americans. We are part of a national Christian organization with over 300 staff working on most major college campuses across the country, we seek to holistically improve the lives of international students through service, social connections, spiritual discovery, and student leadership development. As a non-profit organization that exists to help serve and mobilize international students in the USA and abroad, we welcome all students, visiting scholars, and community members to join us in building bridges of love, understanding, and mutual encouragement.

Each week has two parts:

4:30-5:30 - INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SOCIAL
Each week will have a different social activity to help make new friends from around the world 🗺️. Lots and snacks always provided! (Tell us a fun activity we could do to highlight your culture!)

5:30 QUICK BREAK (SNACK TIME)

5:45-6:30 BRIDGES BIBLE DISCUSSION. Whether you are new to exploring the Bible or Jesus or have been a Christian a long time, everyone is welcome to read a Bible story together and talk about it! This is chill, no pressure place to explore and go deeper together!

TUESDAY NIGHTS - your new favorite night of the week 🤩

If you are a Christian and want to grow in your faith and learn how to share God’s love with the people around you, join us each Tuesday night as our Bridges friends from UW and Edmonds college gather together.

What to expect:
✅ Dinner
✅ Worship
✅ Prayer
✅ Practical tools to grow in your walk with Jesus for a lifetime!

Hey international students! Looking for a fun Saturday adventure? Join the Bridges fam as we take a ferry ⛴️ and explore Bainbridge Island together! This is a classic Seattle experience you don’t want to miss. You get amazing views of the city 🏙️ and if we’re really lucky we might even see some wildlife 🐋🫍.

Plus, you get a chance to begin some new friendships!

Come hang at Bethany’s apartment! We’ll have snacks and games starting at 4:00. Then dinner 🍽️. Then at 7 we’ll dig into some deeper spiritual topics as we discuss some short videos from the amazing team at BibleProject (all their animated videos are super helpful and fun to watch—no really!).

🛶 Kayaking - Sat, May 9th
Come join us for a fun time of kayaking or canoeing at UW! No experience required. Life jackets and all equipment provided. Cost is FREE but spots are limited so let us know if you want to come and we’ll give you the rest of the details. ✌️
