We are very proud to announce that 100% of our 12 EFGS students who took the DELF B1 and B2 exams successfully passed!

This important recognition of their French language proficiency reflects their hard work, dedication, and abilities. It also opens the door to many future bilingual opportunities — from admission to francophone universities in France or Canada to future professional opportunities.

Way to go, EFGS students — congratulations on this amazing achievement!

HAPPY TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY!

What a treat today! Thank you to our amazing parent community for all the thoughtful treats that gave extra energy to our staff, teachers, and assistants this morning at EFGS. From donuts to homemade chouquettes, fresh fruit, notecards, flowers, and kind words — we were overwhelmed by your generosity and kindness!

And the delicious lunch… the French-style sandwiches and mousse au chocolat from Mirabelle by Orphée were absolutely incredible. Such a special day for our whole team.

You bring your many years of teaching experience into a whole new domain! From teaching science to teaching French… in a scientific way, there truly is no better combination! Thank you for your dedication, rigor, and attention to detail in everything you do at EFGS.

You are one of the veterans of EFGS and we truly could not do it all without you! Your eyes are everywhere, and you are the person we call when urgent situations need a calm and rational mind. This is where things get serious! In Experts and Collégiens, students strengthen their grammar and vocabulary foundations while developing their oral skills through book studies, projects, and thematic units.

Sophie – Experts Lead Teacher
Thank you for helping students build such strong foundations in French. Your methodical approach strengthens essential grammar, verb knowledge, and tenses, giving students the tools they need to grow with confidence. Thank you as well for bringing such positive energy and thoughtful ideas into everything you do, including your support with curriculum development.

Thank you for being such a reliable and caring assistant! Always smiling, attentive to everyone, and somehow managing to go up and down the stairs countless times each day to help communicate or support students wherever needed.

Viola – Collégiens 1 Teacher
You are teaching such an important and challenging year—the equivalent of the first year of middle school! Thank you for embracing the energy of active tweens and stepping out of your comfort zone to create meaningful classroom experiences.
