We had a great response to our volunteer day with Sound Foundations Northwest, and there are a few build spots still open. It’s a great opportunity to connect with fellow members and see firsthand the impact of our recent grant.

Wednesday, March 25, 2026
Group build hours: 9:00 am – 2:30 pm

We’ll split into morning and afternoon work sessions, with both groups overlapping for lunch from 12:00–12:30. You can join for either shift, or the whole day.

Lunch from FareStart will be available for $15.

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day and the power of women coming together to create meaningful change.

At Impact West Seattle, we are continually inspired by the generosity, compassion, and determination of our members. When women gather with a shared purpose, incredible things happen. Communities grow stronger, neighbors are supported, and real impact takes shape.

To everyone in our community, thank you for showing up, lifting each other up, and believing in the power of collective giving. Together we are proof that small acts, multiplied by many, can make a big difference.

Here’s to the women who lead, who give, who care, and who help build a brighter future. Happy International Women’s Day!

We've been asked to share this invitation from our local YMCA for their annual fund drive kick off. Thursday, March 5th, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at the Fauntleroy Church Fellowship Hall. The event is an opportunity to hear inspirational stories from community members about how the West Seattle & Fauntleroy YMCA supports impactful work to help everyone in our community belong, grow, and thrive. This year the Y's priorities include:

· Supporting families affected by domestic violence

· Summer camp and outdoor experiences for youth

· Safety Around Water programs for underserved communities

· Inclusive Youth Sports programs that build teamwork, leadership skills and confidence.

Dinner will be provided by Peninsula Soul Food while you enjoy the program emphasizing personal stories of community and connection!
