Every FIFA World Cup leaves us with moments we’ll never forget. 🖼️🐋

At Frame Central, they believe every piece has a story worth preserving. Whether it’s a photograph, a keepsake, or the official Seattle FIFA World Cup poster, their work is about turning memories into artwork.

It feels like a fitting way to close out our SEA Beacon series. Thank you to every business, artist, organization, and community that welcomed the world and helped tell Seattle’s story throughout the tournament.

Here’s to the memories we made, and the ones we’ll carry home.

Some places become landmarks because of what they mean to people. 🌹🏳️‍🌈

Wildrose has been that place since 1984. As the country’s oldest continuously operating le***an bar, it’s welcomed generations of first dates, reunions, celebrations, and lifelong friendships all built around the idea that everyone deserves a place to belong.

As the FIFA World Cup brought people from around the world to Seattle, places like Wildrose helped show what our city has always been about: community, inclusion, and showing up for one another.

Seattle’s skyline wouldn’t look the same without it. 🏙️🐋

Rainier Square is one of the city’s defining landmarks. But at street level, it’s much more than a skyscraper. The Grand Hall connects restaurants, shops, offices, and public gathering spaces that became a hub of activity throughout the FIFA World Cup.

From fans filling the courtyard for public watch parties to visitors exploring downtown between matches, Rainier Square became one of the places where Seattle came together to welcome the world.

Stop by and look for the Sea Beacon above the south entrance and take in one of the city’s most recognizable views from a different perspective.

The best way to visit this SEA Beacon? By boat. ⛴️🐋

Marination is just a quick ride across Elliott Bay on the West Seattle Water Taxi and the trip is part of the experience.

What started as a food truck has grown into one of Seattle’s favorite spots for Hawaiian-Korean fusion, served with one of the city’s best skyline views. If it’s your first visit, co-owner Kamala Saxton recommends starting with the shave ice, then making your way to the fish & chips or kimchi fried rice.

Look for their Pride SEA Beacon next to the shave ice station, grab a table by the water, and enjoy one of Seattle’s best views.

Hood Famous Cafe + Bar introduced Seattle to its now-iconic Ube Cheesecake, but that’s only part of the story.

Geo and Chera built their small business as a space that reflects their Filipino roots, their love for the Chinatown–International District, the coffee they serve and the community they’ve helped build.

Browse shelves filled with rare and collectible books, handwritten letters, signed memorabilia, and pieces of history you won’t find anywhere else.
