Black History Month Reflection

Black history reminds us that progress is never automatic — it is chosen.
Leaders like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela asked us to choose love over hatred, justice over cruelty, and courage over comfort.

Let us remember the wisdom of our leaders:

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
“There can be no future without forgiveness.” — Nelson Mandela

Their words still guide us:
Every human life carries dignity.
Every generation is tested.

Black history is a call to moral clarity — today, not someday.
