Hopefully inspiring new dreams each day — visit thestevehuffmemorialfoundation.org for more Info. Steve Huff Motorsports celebrates the life and legacy of Stephen Anthony “Steve” Huff (1966–2025), a trailblazing racer, builder, and innovator from Washington state. Over a professional motorsports career spanning more than 30 years, Steve set more than 20 national and world speed records on dirt, as
phalt, and sand. From land speed racing motorcycles to Top Fuel Harley-Davidson drag bikes, Steve pushed the limits of what was possible on two and four wheels. In 2020 he made history by piloting the “Current Technology” electric dragster to the first 200 mph quarter‑mile pass by an all‑electric car, later extending that record beyond 202 mph. He went on to add hydroplanes to his resume and fulfilled a dream in 2017, by winning an APBA National Hydroplane Championship with his “Faster Than Cancer” boat. In 2020, Steve was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic upper tract urothelial cancer, yet he continued racing, innovating, and inspiring others with courage and humor until his passing on May 21, 2025, at age 58. His work in the shop and at the tracks continues to influence racers, builders, and fans around the world. Today, all Steve Huff Motorsports intellectual property, digital assets, and licensing are managed by The Steve Huff Memorial Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2025, with a mission dedicated to ensuring "His Legacy Lives On" and inspiring youth to discover opportunity, purpose, and pride in the skilled trades.
