For the past 35 years at Mamma’s Hands, our mission has been to provide a safe, family-centered home for at-risk mothers and children fleeing crisis situations like poverty, domestic violence, and trafficking. Our primary program is the House of Hope, which provides emergency shelter and support services to women and children in crisis. 80% of the families we serve have been impacted by domestic v
iolence. Case management services, onsite parenting classes, counseling, and job readiness activities help families prepare for self-sufficiency. After moving into stable housing our Aftercare Program follows families for up to two years, to provide a continued network of support. 98% of the families who walk through the doors of the House of Hope graduate into long-term housing!
