🎁 It's Day Two of our Holiday Giving Campaign and today we're highlighting our BIGGEST program: the Summer Fellowship Program, which has been ongoing since 2021. We wrapped up a successful 8 weeks with our cohort members and read more to see the breakdown!

Check out a testimonial from one of our participants:

✍🏽 “The Summer Fellowship Program was a game-changer for me. Going into my senior year, I knew nearly nothing about how to apply to college. So, when I discovered Take on College, I took this free opportunity to learn more before the school year began. Now that I have completed the SFP, I have all the knowledge I need to complete college applications and begin college life.”

🎁Let's keep going with the Giving Tuesday momentum! Did you know? This year, Take on College started a scholarship program to award $1000 to support a mentor's tuition expenses! You can make a tax-deductible donation today to support our scholarship fund.

👨‍🎓This year, the Take on College Service Scholarship Application was awarded to Tommy Mac, who has been a volunteer for over two years! He is a Fall Mentorship and Summer Fellowship program mentor, part of the Advance Cohort and a valued member of our team. Take on College

✍️ Read part of his winning statement below:

"My first mentee who returned as a mentor, Brittany, taught me the importance to listen to someone's story, without judging. While my second mentee, Cynthia, taught me the importance of recognizing and empowering our unique identity. Our relationships did not persist because I had helped them go to college, but because our shared effort to create a relationship that was fulfilling and transformative. I had learned from them--just as much my mentees learned from me."
