The month of May is National Mental Health Month. It seems fitting that during this month, we recognize National Police Week, Public Service Recognition Week, National Firefighters Day, National Nurses Day, National EMS Week, National Hospitals Week and Memorial Day.
The global COVID-19 outbreak poses a new and unusual challenge for our first responder and medical communities. These brave individuals are being asked to do the impossible, in unthinkable conditions. The physical, mental and emotional toll that this work will have on our first responders and medical professionals is significant and will be long-lasting.
Safe Call Now operates its confidential call line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to provide crisis intervention and support those on the front lines and their families, including our healthcare professionals.
As a non-profit, we rely upon a team of volunteers daily and generous support from donors. Now more than ever we need to support our first responders and healthcare professionals. Safe Call Now provides a place for our heroes to call when they are in crisis.
Calls to Safe Call Now are always confidential: (206) 459-3020.
Please share our number with your friends and family on the front lines.
And please consider supporting Safe Call Now with a donation.
