Just six more days to vote! 🗳

Our session idea for SOCAP26 "New Capital for New Methods" will share our work to build first-of-its-kind financing for offsite-built starter homes - but only if our community votes for us! ✅

Will you help us seize this important opportunity to build support for starter home financing methods with influential leaders in the field? We'd be so grateful!

"New Capital for New Methods: Financing Starter Home Production at Scale"

Offsite construction can produce starter homes faster, but the financing infrastructure to build at scale doesn't exist yet. The WA Starter Home Plan, together with partners including Craft Contracting and HomeSight, is designing it now.

At SOCAP26 (Oct 12–14, Chicago), we'll share how we're building a layered financing model including revolving loan funds, credit enhancements, and public capital structured to invite private co-investment, and invite you to stress-test it with us.

👉 VOTE to help bring this conversation to SOCAP26.

"We don't get to the transformational if we start at the transactional." 💫

We love how Michael Brown, Chief Architect at Civic Commons, describes our theory of change which is foundationally rooted in belonging & relationship! 🤝🏽

The slide says it all:💥"The only path through [the housing affordability crisis] is to dramatically increase production. And the only way to increase production at the sale and speed we need is to industrialize - make design decisions earlier, industrialize onsite work, and shift more scope offsite."💥

We couldn't agree more and are so inspired by all we're learning at the HUD Breakthrough Regional Pilots Program in Washington, DC! 🏡🏗
