Please join us for the second session of the Skyway Anti-Displacement Workshop Series, a community learning space developed by Skyway Coalition in partnership with People’s Economy Lab.
In our first workshop, we grounded ourselves in Skyway’s anti-displacement history, current realities, and the opportunity presented by the CDA (Community Development Association) model. In this next session, we’ll build on that foundation by diving deeper into Community Wealth Building as a framework for equitable economic development and continuing the conversation about how a CDA can serve Skyway.

In this workshop, we will:
-Explore Community Wealth Building as a practical strategy to fight displacement and strengthen local economic power
-Go deeper into the CDA model and what role it could play in Skyway’s future
-Gather community input to help shape the vision, priorities, and possibilities for a Skyway CDA
-Create space for reflection, discussion, and collective strategy
This series is open to residents, community leaders, organizations, and anyone invested in a future where Skyway remains a place where longtime residents, families, and small businesses can stay, grow, and thrive.
