I will be temporarily take over Thorndyke park / forest again, along with Magnolia park / forest S.E. until a new steward is found for Thorndyke park / forest. I will try and work work parties into both areas once me schedule is set for December with other family activies.

The last 200 of the 400 native plants are all in the ground thanks to another wonderful crew of workers.

There was a great work party yesterday morning that got so much work done it was unbelievable. Clearing blackberry stock to be able to start digging up the roots. We had a total of 11 show up.

The second group to work in Magnolia park S.E. forest was fabulous! Multiple areas got clear of blackberries, ivy and garbage.
We are making our way to the fence overlooking Eliot bay to see the city, Mount Rainer, and west Settle.
I hope everyone enjoyed the days efforts. The weather was god right up until the end of the event.
