RMHS North America Inc. and RMHS Project Horizon Alumni Association Inc. Donate Two Customized Food Carts to RMHS Home Economics Department

In support of student services and practical learning opportunities, RMHS North America Inc. and RMHS Project Horizon Alumni Association Inc. donated two customized food carts to the Home Economics Department of Ramon Magsaysay High School, Manila.

The official turnover was led by RMHS North America Inc. Vice President Evelyn Martinez-Javier and RMHS Project Horizon Alumni Association Inc. Secretary Romel Pedales, who formally presented the food carts to Ms. Lorna Grasuta, Head of the Home Economics Department.

Designed to improve the delivery of food services across the school campus, the food carts address a growing need within RMHS, one of Manila's largest public secondary schools. Their mobility allows food and refreshments to be brought directly to students and participants in various school activities, providing greater convenience and accessibility.

The usefulness of the food carts was immediately demonstrated during Brigada Eskwela 2026, where they were officially utilized for the feeding initiative that served volunteers and stakeholders participating in the annual school improvement program.

The carts helped facilitate the orderly distribution of meals and refreshments, contributing to the success of the activity. Beyond their immediate use, the food carts will serve as valuable training tools for Home Economics students, providing hands-on experience in food service management, entrepreneurship, and customer relations.

With RMHS upcoming completion of its 10-storey school building by 2027, the demand for accessible food services is expected to increase significantly. School officials recognize that additional food carts will be needed in the future to effectively serve students, faculty, and visitors throughout the expanded facility.

The donation underscores the shared commitment of RMHS North America Inc. and RMHS Project Horizon Alumni Association Inc. to advancing student welfare, enriching educational opportunities, and supporting the growing needs of the Ramon Magsaysay High School community.
