Operation Sea Bright

Operation Sea Bright That being said, I wanted this page be a outlet for all those willing and down to help out by any means possible this break.

With everyone from our area affected by Hurricane Sandy, and especially with Sea Bright nearly being washed out into the Atlantic, it is only right that we all come together this Thanksgiving Break to help rebuild this town that means so much to us Following the destruction wrought by Hurricane Sandy on the town of Sea Bright, New Jersey, it was quite clear that there had to be an effort by all th

ose who those who call Sea Bright home. I feel that it is only appropriate that when all of beach kids get home for Thanksgiving break, we can find the time to dedicate a day or two or three to help rebuild this town that has given us all so many great times and memories. I wanted this to be a forum where all of us could share ideas on how we can help out, and for those of us who are not in state, how we can help out once we get back. I have been in contact with various SB borough people on how we can best direct our efforts during these few days we will dedicate ourselves to giving back to this town. We all owe it to ourselves in return for how much this town has meant to us in years past. Lets make this an event where all of us return to this tiny sqaure mile beach town for a few days of work, but more importantly, a few days together where we can all reconnect, reminice, and give back to this cherished place that has given us so much in the past.

If you are looking to help out this week, stop by the Boro Hall in Rumson and they will assign you to certain locations/jobs in Sea Bright. Even if it's only for an hour, anything will help!

This is the first time I am seeing the inside of any of the places along Ocean Ave., and just so happens to be the bar I worked at the past two summers. It's a real shame. I am happy about the 330 likes so far, but we can use a lot more support and more discussion. So please, continue sharing this page with everyone and lets make this happen. Thanks a ton guys. I will keep you all updated with anything else that comes my way. Have a good one.

Hi everyone! I want this to be an open forum where all who would like to help out Sea Bright this Thanksgiving break can post ideas of where we can direct our efforts to those who need it most. Whether it is collecting and disposing of debris from the various beach clubs, Donovans and store fronts along Ocean Ave. to removing all the sand that has made its way all over town, we can all do something to help rebuild this great place.
This should be a fun few days of work where our community comes together. We could organize music, food, and drink to maintain a positive atmosphere, and its a great way for all of us who have been out of town for some time to reconnect and have a good time rebuilding this town that has provided us so much. I have been in touch with local aid agencies and the SB borough to see how best our efforts could be utilized, so I will keep everyone updated with that.
So everyone please! Invite your friends, invite your family, lets make this a successful event that we will all remember!
