Good afternoon everyone.

Thank you so so much to everyone that came to the garage sale fill a bag.

We will be having one last sale as we have more to bring out. It will be Friday 6/12 10a to 2pm back in the garage.

Fill a bag for $5. And bigger items priced to sell.

We will be purchasing a bunch of non perishable items for Fruits & Roots Community Fridge and dropping them off on Friday ❤️

They did a fundraiser this past week and made a nice amount to fill the fridge so we are going to stick to non perishables.

There will also be a yard sale set up front of 720 south Irving ave. That sale is separate to the garage for the bigger items we have and other items our group donated to try to cover July for the garage rent so we have time to sort out everything we have and get it donated to those that can use it to help the community.

Separate yardsale in front will have lots of corning ware tools kitchen items tools and more.

Good evening everyone!

This Sunday we will be having a fill a grocery bag for $5 in the garage with the remaining yard sale item.

All proceeds from this sale will be used to buy food to fill the fruits and roots refrigerator for the community in Peckville.

The sale will be from 10a to 2p. 720 south irving ave in the garage. Scranton.

Also to clear some things up.

Our group will be having a meeting on Thursday to see who we will be donating our christmas toys and teen supplies to.

We will be donating to a few different places not just one so we know they are being used for the community.

I will be keeping some toys and teen stuff to be able to still help with birthdays when needed.

We are not stopping our helping the community we unfortunately cannot continue Christmas without the garage.

Important Announcement: Pausing Donations & Operations. A Difficult Update from Our Team 💔

For the past 6 years, it has been our absolute honor to support this community. Because we are entirely community-funded, we rely 100% on your donations to keep our doors open. Unfortunately, this year has been incredibly difficult for everyone, and our group is majorly struggling. Right now, we are barely making our garage rent each month. Because of these rising costs for everyone, we have been completely unable to buy toys for the holidays like we usually do.
We have received very minimal yard sale donations from the wider community this season. Most of what we do have came directly from our own group members' pockets.
Please know that this is absolutely okay. We completely understand that times are tough for everyone right now.
However, due to these financial strains, we have had to make a very hard decision.

Effective immediately, we are stopping all incoming donations for the garage sale and Christmas. We have the garage paid until the end of June so to ensure that the toys we did already receive still bring joy to children, we will be donating them to another local group or organization that has the resources to distribute them.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the last 6 years of shared community spirit. We appreciate your understanding during this incredibly tough time.

We will be having an online raffle for the girls huffy bike and the wooden doll house.

There is 25 slots each for $5 a chance.

We will be doing a chance wheel with everyone's name that purchases a spot.

If you want multiple spots your name goes on a spot on the wheel for each chance you purchase.

Please add your name and phone number to the venmo or paypal so we know your information.

We will be doing the randon wheel live on this page to show the winner.

Disclaimer-the doll house is wooden and heavy so if you win you will need help carrying it.

Good evening everyone!
Thanks to all of your yard sale donations we made a little over $120 at the yard sale on Saturday.

The next sale will be June 20th.
This will be a bake/raffle and garage sale.

We are looking for donations of yard sale items and baskets if anyone can help.

We have only been able to purchase some toys not many due to us having to cover the garage rent first with what we make at these sales.

If anyone would like to help with July and August's garage rent so we can use the proceeds from the June 20th sale for toys I will share my venmo and paypal.

Any donation helps so we can purchase toys for Christmas 2026 ❤️
