Saturday June 13th. Mark it down!

The Associates Coed 3v3 Charity Basketball Tournament is coming and we are not playing around. Team check-in starts at 8am, tip-off for Pools A & B goes at 9am, and we are running all the way to a 3pm! Championship and an Award Ceremony right after. A full day of hoops for a cause that hits close to home.

$150 per team to register — scan the QR code on the flyer or head to www.adayacharity.org to lock your squad in. Every dollar goes toward building athletic opportunities for youth right here in Phoenix. Let’s help our community centers and schools create programs that will help our youth succeed.

Oh, and if you haven’t heard — before we ball out in June, we’re pulling up on April 11th for something special. Originally we wanted to host our Charity Fun Run, but due to the heat coming around so much sooner than expected, we want to take the right precautions and will find a better time. Now we will be hosting our first Friends & Family Media day of 2026! Come out and enjoy some food, NA beverages, and some fun in the sun with our village!

Times for media day, June courts to be announced, and more info on the way. Get your team together NOW.

Let me introduce myself.

I’m Axel Diaz — Founder & Director of AD & Associates Youth Athletic Charity.
Born and raised in New York, I grew up surrounded by incredible talent. Kids who could run faster, jump higher, and dream bigger than they even realized — but too often, opportunity didn’t match their potential. Sometimes it came down to resources, access, or simply not having the right support system.

I felt that too. There were sports I couldn’t join and programs I couldn’t afford. But instead of slowing me down, it lit a fire in me. It taught me what access really means — and how powerful it is when young people are given a real chance.

Then came 14 years in hospitality — restaurants, clubs, bars, retail, door-to-door sales, you name it — and every role you can think of. I learned how to walk into a room full of strangers and make it feel like family. I traveled the country, met and created friendships with people from every walk of life, and even spent time as a vocal coach for kids who just needed someone to believe in them. In the last 10 years I've worked tirelessly to grow as a person and see where I can make the biggest impact. People change lives; lives change people.

All of that shaped this.

Every shift, every conversation, every kid with untapped potential taught me one thing:
People rise when they feel seen, supported, and part of something bigger than themselves.

That’s what AD & Associates Youth Athletic Charity is.
We build community through sports. We fund our mission by hosting coed adult athletic events that show we can have fun and be united, while still having a competitive spirit! This fund helps us partner with community centers, schools, and families so young athletes can access the opportunities they deserve.

We’re here to give youth confidence, mentorship, and real support — on the court and off the field.

It takes a village.
We’re building ours through sports.

This year, we’re bringing everyone in our village together for a day of movement, connection, and purpose. Whether you walk, jog, run, or cheer from the sidelines, this event is all about celebrating health, unity, and the power of showing up for our youth.

Every step taken supports our mission at AD & Associates Youth Athletic Charity: empowering young athletes through inclusive sports programs that build confidence, leadership, and lifelong growth.

We're back — and we couldn't be more excited for what's ahead!
At AD & Associates Youth Athletic Charity, our mission has always been rooted in one belief: every young person deserves the chance to grow through the power of sports. This year, we're stepping forward with renewed energy, expanded partnerships, and even more opportunities for youth and families across our communities here in Arizona.

Through inclusive programs that build confidence, leadership, and lifelong skills, we will work alongside schools, community centers, and organizations that share our vision. Together, we will create spaces where young athletes can thrive through mentorship, teamwork, and meaningful connection - both on the court and off the field. Providing grants and scholarships as time goes along being a main goal of ours.
And we're not stopping there. Our adult co-ed recreational events will continue to bring communities together, showing our youth that the joy, strength, and unity found in sports truly transcend age and background.

Thank you for your patience, your support, and your belief in what we're building. We're thrilled to be back - and even more excited for the growth, impact, and opportunities coming your way!
