Grooming rarely looks like a threat at first. It can look like friendship, attention, shared interests, or someone who seems to really understand your child.

Someone who constantly gives attention, asks for secrets, or makes your child feel like they have a “special” relationship with them may be testing boundaries.

Know who your child is talking to, and let them know they can come to you if something starts to feel off.
