Will Roger's Follies UPDATE from Director Douglas Trudeau:
Dear South Shore Summer Theater & Showstopper Friends:
Auditions were held last weekend for the upcoming show The Will Rogers Follies. We had a great turn out and now a terrific cast. I am so excited about the show and I am hoping all of you will join us in July for what promises to be a spectacular production.
It has been brought to my attention that some of you who did not wish to audition might still be interested in participating in the show this summer. That is great and please know that ALL are welcome. Since our numbers for the younger children are smaller than in previous years, we have changed the rehearsal times. Instead of afternoon rehearsals we are going to rehearse from 6:30 -7:45PM Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday beginning May 28th at Dance Carousel in Scituate. In July we will add Thursday nights as well. Children will not have to be at every rehearsal. A detailed schedule will be given out at the first rehearsal.
I do ask that if you plan to have your child participate that you send me an e-mail so I know to expect them. My e-mail address is [email protected].
For high school aged students, we are still in need of three boys who can sing. Please come down on the 28th if you are available.
Finally, there are some open spots for the Broadway Kidz program that will be held July 8 - 19th. This two week intensive camp runs morning for two weeks and ends with a great show on Friday night the 19th.
