“Brown Sugar” is a 3-month-old Cattle Dog mix with THE CUTEST doggie smile! She is still looking for her forever home!
Sugar is:
✅fully crate trained and sleeps through the night. She can also go 4-5 hours crated during the day if needed
✅95% housebroken
✅very quiet so far—not a big barker
✅wicked smart and very attentive—will be a rockstar in obedience class!
✅great with other dogs of all sizes
✅great with kids BUT Cattle Dogs tend to like to herd children so no young kids less than 8 or super “delicate” kids
✅loves being outside and playing with toys

***Cattle Dogs need to be exercised and trained. They do not want to lead a sedentary lifestyle. Please only apply if you are EXCITED to train and exercise a new puppy with a strong herding background. Sugar DOES correct nicely with a firm hand because she’s so smart but she would not be a good match for a brand-new dog owner. Preference will go to rural or at least suburban environments for this gal!

Zuko aka Zookie is a 15 week old, 32lb lab/terrier mix who is looking for his forever home. He can't believe he hasn't found it yet, I mean look at that face!

Zuko is a sweet little guy who loves to play with squeaky toys or chew a bone and then snuggle up on the couch for a nap next to his humans. He buries all his bones in the couch and blankets, has a favorite toy that he sleeps with and carries around with him, and a blanket he loves to drag around everywhere. He has the funniest, cutest personality that gets bigger and brighter everyday! He is getting along great with all of his foster dog siblings and would love a forever home with another dog friend for him to play with. He does show a bit too much interest in the resident foster cats, so a home without cats would be best for him.

He is crate trained and doing great with potty training. Zuko also rides well in the car and walks well on a leash.

Dulce, which means sweet in Spanish, is surely living up to her name. She is happy and gentle and quite independent.

She went to her first puppy class last night and she had a ball! At first she didn’t understand why we were there, but by the end she was sitting for chicken and even got the zoomies during play time!

Dulce is only 10.6 lbs at almost 5 months old - which means she should be a smaller/medium dog. Best guess is under 30 lbs - but since we don’t know her DNA, it is a guess!

Dulce loves to play with toys and will do so by herself. She will jump in your lap if you’re sitting down, and she comes right up to you. But, she can be skittish if you reach for her - which is a classic small dog trait! With patience and love that should get better.

Dulce would love a family to call her own, and that will keep bringing her to fun places and teaching her all about the world!
