GCAMP In the past five years GCAMP has:

Arranged open houses for area middle and high school students and parents to see advanced manufacturing in action.

The Greater Chicago Advanced Manufacturing Partnership, or GCAMP, is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Charitable Organization with a mission to work toward creating a sustainable manufacturing workforce in the Greater Chicago area. Also sponsored buses of students to attend trade shows like IMTS and FABTECH

Helped Harper Community College redevelop an advanced manufacturing program that now has approximately

350 enrolled, with potential for 1,000+

With workforce brands, collaborated on an innovative manufacturing internship program that has won national and state recognition

Worked with local secondary schools and community colleges to support dual credit/ advanced placement courses to get students on a STEM manufacturing career path.

Only a few spots remain for our Student Summer Manufacturing Tour at TouchTunes!

TouchTunes is the largest in-venue interactive music and entertainment platform. They released the first pay-for-play digital jukebox in 1998 and have helped bring music to millions of people.

Last week, Valley Industrial Association, GCAMP, and Marmion Academy's CPARC (Computational Prototyping and Research Center) hosted a student showcase. Employers attended to see students in action solving real world industry challenges using prototypes, simulations, and their design skills.

Students showed off their impressive work while employers got to see the next generation of talent in action! Internships were even discussed amongst the employers and students.

GCAMP Summer Manufacturing Tours are BACK with free, behind the scenes tours for students ages 12+ and their parents!

Our first tour will be at UMW in Schaumburg on June 10th. UMW specializes in Precision CNC Milling and Turning! Join us to see their 25+ CNC machines, learn about precision CNC Milling, learn about jobs in the industry, and see manufacturing in action.

Join us for a transformational summer tour!

Go inside local facilities to see what modern manufacturing really looks like.

Experience how robotics, automation, machining and engineering are used to make the things we use everyday.
