The story of the Reading Corner initiative 🌳

Today, we planned to organize a Reading Corner program in the village. The time was set from 4 to 5:30 pm, and the location was decided as the playground in Khadak. Invitations were sent out, but by 4:30 pm, no one had arrived. Just as we were about to leave, 4 children came running. “Even if no one else comes, we’re here, we’ll read books,” they said, and they read for an hour.

The children suggested that the program be held in the village so more kids would attend. Now, we’re discussing which books to include so that kids will come and read 🌳

The children’s enthusiasm and love for reading make it seem like the initiative will be a success! 😊
