Hi, I’m Angel — and yes, I live up to the name. My story starts on Chicago’s south side, where I was found wandering the streets all on my own — skinny, no collar, no microchip, nobody looking for me. The kind people who found me tried everything to track down my family, and when they couldn’t, they didn’t want me to end up lost in the shuffle at animal control. So they called CDR, and here I am!
These days I’m getting the stability I always deserved in my foster home, and let me tell you, I am thriving. I’ve got my house manners down, I’m crate trained, and I’m just as sweet and playful as I am gorgeous (have you SEEN this black coat?) and don’t forget my absolutely killer head tilt- I’ve got that down pat!
I get along with dogs, cats, and — I kid you not — even birds. Whatever kind of crew you’ve got at home, I’m ready to fit right in. Give me a canine friend to play with and I will match their energy, whether that’s a chill couch cuddle or a full-on zoomie session in the yard. I just love having playmates.
I’ve had a rough start, but I’m young, I’m resilient, and I’m so ready for my person (or people!) to find me.
