I would like to thank all of those in North Bethlehem Township for your patience while we addressed road closures and issues with the storm that occurred on June 6 and especially thanks to those residents who helped in the process of getting the roads reopened. I am sorry to report there are still a couple of areas. The roads are closed primarily due to trees on utility lines. We are not permitted to address anything involving West Penn power.

Thank you
Rick Cross
North Bethlehem Township

Don't forget to vote this Tuesday, May 19th. Polls are open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. We will also be collecting canned goods to be donated to the City Mission during voting hours. In addition, we are once again looking for old pictures of Scenery Hill - especially from the school - to be added to our current display at the Community Center. These can also be dropped off at the polls. See everyone on Tuesday!

Editor’s Note: With new settlements being established in the Northwest Territory, leaders of the still young United States tackled another issue — how to link cities in the east with new opportunities in the west.
