Sayre-Athens Rotary Club Luncheon meetings are every Tuesday at 12:10pm in The Grille's Banquet Room, 718 N Lehigh Ave, Sayre, PA 18840.

We are neighbors, community leaders and global citizens uniting for the common good and taking on some of the world's most pressing challenges. For more than 100 years, Rotarian's have joined together from all continents, cultures, and occupations to take action in our communities and worldwide. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.

We can’t thank everyone enough who came out yesterday to support our club and the important work we do throughout the community we proudly serve.

This was our very first time hosting this event, and we are incredibly grateful to say it was a huge success! Even with a smaller crowd than we had hoped for, the support, excitement, and enthusiasm from those who attended meant the world to us. We truly hope even more people will join us the next time around!

We are beyond thankful to everyone who showed up, supported the cause, and helped make the day so special. Here are just a few photos from the event — we didn’t capture as many as we would have liked because everyone was so excited to claim their prizes!

We have amazing baskets, cash, & lottery board available today at the Sayre-Athens Rotary Club’s Bingo Prize Palooza!

🕛 Doors Open: 12:00 PM
🎲 Games Begin: 2:00 PM
💲 Admission: $40.00 — includes 20 games and your chance to win 20 fantastic prizes!

Every basket has a minimum value of $100, and many include incredible gift certificates and specialty items you won’t want to miss!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Individuals of all ages are welcome to attend! Please note that any prize containing alcohol will be awarded to an accompanying adult age 21 or older.

In addition to our amazing basket prizes, we’ll also have:

Our friends at Wellsburg Diner have prepared their famous Pulled Pork BBQ & Pasta Salad, along with two delicious homemade cakes for dessert. We’ll also have hot dogs and French fries available!

What an incredible evening celebrating academic excellence at our annual Rotary Top 10 Banquet! Last night, we had the honor of recognizing the Top 10 students from the Athens, Sayre, and Waverly School Districts.

Students, families, guests, Rotarians, administrators, and community members came together to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of these outstanding young individuals. These students are not only excelling academically, but are also deeply involved in athletics, community service, the workforce, and their families. Their dedication, leadership, and drive are truly inspiring, and there is no doubt they will continue to make a tremendous impact on our communities for years to come.

We are incredibly proud to recognize the Top 10 students from each of our Valley schools. Congratulations to all of the honorees on this well-deserved achievement!

A special thank you to the Waverly Rotary Club for partnering with us once again for this meaningful annual event. Each student was presented with a Rotary medal embossed with their school logo, along with a certificate recognizing their accomplishments.

What a memorable and inspiring night for everyone involved!

Earlier this week, the Sayre–Athens Rotary Club proudly welcomed Envoy Laurie Merrick of the Sayre Salvation Army as its newest member. Laurie brings a tremendous passion for serving our community, and we are excited to have her join our team of dedicated Rotarians as we continue making a difference through our service projects.

Rotary is always looking to grow, and there’s always room for individuals who want to give back. If you’ve ever considered getting involved, we’d love to have you join us for a meeting—reach out and see what Rotary is all about!
