For a Valley couple, Thanksgiving 2021 will be remembered as a day for truly giving thanks. Just before the holiday, 11/16/2021, eleven volunteer workers, friends and family members spent five hours giving to them in a very special way. The group, some pictured here, built a regulation size handicap ramp which will allow the couple to easily move in and out of their home. Under the construction lead of workers from Hezekiah’s Hands, the volunteers included workers from the Valley Relief Council, Habitat for Humanity, Ground Breaking Construction and Jeff Paul Plumbing & Heating. Planning for the project had to be ‘fast tracked’ in order to get the work done before the coming winter weather.
