June is PTSD Awareness Month.

For many first responders, the calls don’t end when the shift does. The sights, sounds, and experiences we carry can leave lasting impacts on our mental health.

This month, we honor those who silently battle PTSD and remind our brothers and sisters that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. You are not alone, and support is available.

Our peer support team stands ready to listen, support, and walk alongside you through the challenges. Together, we can break the stigma and foster a culture where mental wellness is just as important as physical wellness.

This week, we recognize and celebrate the dedicated professionals of EMS during National EMS Week 2026.

Thank you to the EMTs, paramedics, and first responders who show up every day—ready to serve, ready to care, and ready to make a difference when it matters most. Your commitment, compassion, and resilience do not go unnoticed.

We are grateful for all that you do for our community. 🚑💙

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

To all our first responders — the ones who run toward chaos when everyone else runs away — this is your reminder:

You are human, too.

You carry things most people will never see or understand. The calls don’t just stay on scene… they follow you home, sit with you in silence, and show up when you least expect it.

It’s okay to not be okay.
It’s okay to talk about it.
It’s okay to ask for help.

Strength isn’t just shown in the moments you save others — it’s also in the moments you take care of yourself.

Check on your partners. Check on your crew. Check on yourself.

No one fights alone. 💪

As first responders, our jobs require so many skills. And one of those is to simply remember that we are human too. This video shows a great example of this Deputy using genuine human compassion and understanding to have the ultimate best outcome. Here at Anchor Point, we are committed to helping those, that are helping others.

TAP wants to recognize all volunteers with various Fire Departments across our area. National Volunteer Week runs April 19th-25th. We appreciate all of you that answer the call day and night.

04/12/2026

Today marks the beginning of Telecommunications Week, which runs April 12th-18th, and TAP would like to send a thank you out to all those behind the calls. While they’re often behind the scenes, the exceptional work they do should not go unnoticed. Thank you for all you do. We appreciate you! So if you see a dispatcher, buy them a coffee or simply just say thank you.

Happy Easter from all of us at TAP! And as always on the holidays we remember our first responders and military personnel serving today that are away from friends and family. We see you and appreciate you!
