Low Country MWBE Contracting Resources is a community-centered organization committed to empowering minority- and women-owned businesses & enterprises (MWBEs) across Coastal Georgia, the Central Savannah River Area, and surrounding South Carolina regions. Our mission is to equip underserved entrepreneurs with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to successfully register as certified MWBE vendors with local and regional government agencies.
We provide hands-on guidance through every step of the certification process — from understanding eligibility requirements to completing applications and securing the necessary documentation. Our workshops, mentorship programs, and one-on-one technical assistance ensure that minority and women-owned businesses are not only prepared but positioned to access lucrative contracting opportunities in the public sector.
At the heart of our work is a belief in equitable access and economic inclusion. We serve as a bridge between government procurement offices and the historically excluded business owners who have the talent and capacity to deliver. By increasing MWBE participation in local contracting, we help build stronger, more resilient communities driven by local innovation, diversity, and leadership.
