⚾️💚 Girl Scout MLB Day! 💚⚾️

Some of our Girl Scouts came together for a fun morning yesterday learning a little about Major League Baseball and putting the equipment donated to our troop to use! We played ball, ran the bases, practiced our swings, and cheered each other on!

It was a HOT morning, but these girls kept asking to play again and again! 😂☀️⚾️ We cooled off with plenty of Gatorade, hotdogs and popcorn before wrapping up with each girl receiving her own little participant trophy, plus Cracker Jacks and bubblegum to take home for their own baseball fun!

A morning full of teamwork, laughter, activity and Girl Scout spirit! 💚⚾️

🌿💚 Girl Scout Love State Parks! 💚🌿

We had such a wonderful morning at Pickwick State Park for our second year participating in Girl Scout Love State Parks! 🏕️🌼

A huge thank you to Pickwick State Park and Park Ranger Kaylee for spending the morning with us and teaching our girls all about the pollinator field, the different types of plants, and the important role they play in our ecosystem. 🌻🦋🐝 The girls even got to pass around and examine some of the plants up close!

The girls then joined a troop from Hernando, Mississippi, where they had the opportunity to make new Girl Scout friends while painting with watercolors. 🎨 They created their own artwork inspired by the plants, colors, and things they had seen throughout the pollinator garden.

We absolutely love being able to participate in experiences like this that combine nature, learning, creativity, friendship, and Girl Scout fun! 💚

This is our second year participating in Girl Scout Love State Parks, and we hope to make it a little bigger and better every year! We are so thankful to the state parks for continuing to provide these wonderful opportunities for our girls to explore, learn, and make memories. 🌿💚

☀️🏖️ What a perfect way to wrap up our Girl Scout season! 🏖️☀️

Yesterday was filled with sunshine, laughter, and so many unforgettable memories! The sun was hot, the water was cold, and our girls (and parents!) had an absolute blast enjoying a well-deserved day at the pool.

One of the best parts of the day was watching our Girl Scouts conquer fears, step outside of their comfort zones, and show just how brave they are. Whether it was trying something new in the water or cheering on a friend, these girls demonstrated courage, confidence, and kindness all day long.

After swimming, we enjoyed a yummy peanut butter and jelly lunch with chips and Capri Suns before cooling off with delicious cupcakes and cookies. To celebrate all of their hard work throughout the season, each girl received a beach ball displaying the badges she has earned so far this year. They have worked incredibly hard, and they absolutely deserved a day dedicated to celebrating all they have accomplished!

As we take a short break for the summer, we’re already looking forward to our next adventure together. In just a month or so, we’ll be back making even more memories on our troop camping trip! 🏕️💚

A huge THANK YOU to all of the parents who came, helped, and kept watch over all of our girls throughout the day. Your support, encouragement, and willingness to lend a hand make experiences like this possible. We truly couldn’t do it without each and every one of you.

💖✨ Spa & Self-Care Friendship Party ✨💖

Our girls enjoyed a fun-filled evening focused on friendship, kindness, and self-care yesterday!

We started our meeting by reciting the Girl Scout Promise and Law together before jumping into our spa-themed activities. The girls created their own positive affirmation books filled with encouraging words and reminders of just how amazing they are. They also decorated mini mirrors, made beautiful friendship bracelets, and enjoyed a yummy snack together.

To top off the evening, everyone relaxed with face masks and some well-deserved pampering! Each girl also went home with a special goodie bag that included hair scrunchies, lotion, and an extra face mask so they could continue their self-care at home.

It was wonderful watching the girls encourage one another, celebrate their friendships, and build confidence through fun and creative activities. We hope they remember to look in their mirrors, read their affirmations, and always see the kind, brave, and amazing Girl Scouts they are! 💚

🏕️ Our Indoor Camping Adventure was a huge success! 🏕️

As we prepare for the real camping experience, our girls spent the day learning important outdoor skills while having lots of fun together.

We started our meeting with the Girl Scout Promise, and every girl eagerly volunteered to stand up and recite it. We were so proud of their confidence and enthusiasm!

Next, we reviewed camp safety rules. Each girl took a turn reading a rule aloud, and together we discussed why each one is important for keeping ourselves and our troop safe during outdoor adventures.

We also spent time talking about nature and learning what things are safe to touch and what things should be left alone while exploring outdoors. To put our nature lessons into practice, the girls made pinecone bird feeders! They gloved up, spread Crisco on pinecones, and rolled them in birdseed to create a special treat for our feathered friends.

After our nature activity, the girls created their own delicious trail mix while talking about future hikes and how trail mix makes a great snack to bring along on the trail.

Then came one of the highlights of the day—learning how to set up not one, but TWO tents! The girls worked together to pitch the tents, take them down, and pack them back into their bags, building teamwork, confidence, and outdoor skills along the way.

After all that activity, we gathered together to sing campfire songs, share lots of laughs, and enjoy time with our Girl Scout sisters. We wrapped up our adventure with a camping favorite—yummy s’mores!

From outdoor safety and nature exploration to camping skills and teamwork, our girls had an amazing day preparing for future adventures. We are so proud of how much they learned and can’t wait to see where the trail takes us next! 💚⛺🔥

Yesterday our Girl Scouts spent time learning an important lesson about kindness and standing up against bullying—and what better way to put that into action than spreading joy throughout our community 💚

While enjoying a beautiful day by the river, the girls painted rocks with uplifting messages like “Jesus loves you” and “You’re awesome.” They had such thoughtful conversations, were eager to share their ideas, and showed just how powerful kindness can be.

Each rock has a QR code on the back that leads right here to our page so we can see where they end up! If you’re lucky enough to find one, we’d love for you to snap a picture and share it in the comments. You can keep it or rehide it to keep the kindness going!

Some of the girls are even taking rocks with them on trips to other states—we can’t wait to see how far they travel and whose day they brighten along the way. This was such a special day filled with meaningful conversations, creativity, and big hearts.
